THE VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD.

If you want to know more about the Versatile Blogger Award, please feel free to visit this blog:  http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com/about/

Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy.
Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy — if you can figure out how to do it
Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly. ( I would add, pick blogs or bloggers that are excellent!)
Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award — you might include a link to this site
Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself

When you consider nominating a fellow blogger for the Versatile Blogger Award, consider the quality of the writing, the uniqueness of the subjects covered, the level of love displayed in the words on the virtual page. Or, of course, the quality of the photographs and the level of love displayed in the taking of them.Honor those bloggers who bring something special to your life whether every day or only now and then.

THE IMAGINE AWARD

The Imagine Award nomination has been a great honour for me, thank you once again to dietrying999 “In Loving  I am so greatful that you enjoy my blog, and found it worthy.

The Imagine Award” is an award created by Jenn Mulherin (who is the writer of the blog “My Fibrotastic Life!”) in October of 2013. This award was made in order to recognize the bloggers who express their passion and dedication towards their blogs through their creativity.

How is creativity found in a blog?

Just like beauty, creativity is in the eye of the beholder. There are many unique ways which bloggers can express their creativity. Creativity can be displayed through:

  • Words (such as writing fictional stories or real life experiences, poetry, quotes, using metaphors, etc.)
  • Pictures (this can include photos, comics, computer-drawn pictures, etc.)
  • Videos
  • The layout of the blog page

The degree of creativity is one of the qualities in a blog which not only draws more readers, but it shows how much the blogger cares about their blog. The caretaking of a blog is like taking care of a plant. In order to keep it healthy and growing, you need to feed the blog with your ideas and give it a lot of love.

The third award nominated to me is the WORDPRESS FAMILY AWARD by

.Thank You for this nomination and for bringing me in the family. You honour me .

This is why I created the Award:

This is an award for everyone who is part of the “Word Press Family” I start this award on the basis that the WordPress family has taken me in, and showed me love and a caring side only WordPress can. The way people take a second to be nice, to answer a question and not make things a competition amazes me here. I know I have been given many awards, but I wanted to leave my own legacy on here by creating my own award, as many have done before. This represents “Family” we never meet, but are there for us as family. It is my honour to start this award. Thank you, Shaun @ http://prayingforoneday.wordpress.com/

  6. Thank you for your kindness in nominating Freedomborn Limbiley, I really do appreciate the encouragement that is part of Award giving and hope to Post some this year although a lot of Christian Blogs don’t accept them now but I will keep looking at least, I have you now don’t I.

    Thanks again – Anne

    • A lot of christians have trouble receiving probably because they feel it gets in the way and doesn’t glorify God.

I like to think of it as my glory on earth in the rewards and awards I receice are an exntension and indication of God’s love and grace to me.So are all the blessings ;jobs, money, good church, life, health, loving spouses, kids, family, great honest friends, the internet and yes the iphone (lol)

      But then thats just me.

I also remember that God is Jehovah Jireh which in literal translation means his provision shall be seen. Ah seen by who? I wonder “others”:

      Gen 22;
13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.

Psalms 23 says, “thou preparest a table in the presence of my enemies”.

The feast is in front of the enemies so they may see!!
We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the power of our testimony and nothing is more powerful than a testimony seen.

That’s a post on its own,but I could be wrong not likey but maybe.

I think people that have trouble receiving is because they have trouble giving. This is why a lot of christians struggle with the idea of salvation ( i am just going to post something on this)

      Thanks for inspiring ,…………….again 🙂

    • Sorry Limbiley for my delay in getting back to you, both Computer problems and ongoing pain after my accident, kept me from responding sooner to your very thoughtful and searching response.

Perhaps what some are expressing, is that God tells us we must become less and Him more, meaning by the empowering of The Holy Spirit we put our flesh to death Romans 8 and are conformed into the image of Jesus, and yes He is a giver and receiver, which is confirmed in Scripture.

So many Christians worry Limbiley that they may show fleshy pride, that they forget we are to be proud of who we are in Christ Jesus as you said, perhaps if I share the two types of pride with you, then it may be clearer what the differences are.

I do feel though what you expressed Limbiley is True but not all who give Awards and receive them will have the same focus as you or I do. I like to know who is receiving it , if I’m telling someone for example that they have a great Blog, I need to know they have, meaning what they are teaching others is God’s Truth, I don’t promote error, but some don’t accept correction, which means they have fleshy pride and as God tells us to be careful what we focus on, meaning think about, we need to move on and our hearts will tell us to do so but we still pray for them.

      What Worldly pride is…

Mark 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

1 John 2:15- 17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the Pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

      What Godly Pride is …

Galatians 6: 4 Each one should understand their own actions. Then they can take Pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to others.

2 Corinthians 8:24 show these men the proof of your Love and the reason for our Pride in you, so that the Churches can see it.

2 Corinthians 5:11-12 Because we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. It is plain to God what we are, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. We are giving you an opportunity to take Pride in us not trying to commend ourselves again to you , so that you have an answer for those who take Pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart.

Romans 11:13b I take Pride in my Ministry.

As a Christian I also take Godly Pride in my Ministry to those who are in darkness, and rejoice with those who are not as I’m sure you seek to do too Limbiley.

Christian Love from both of us – Anne

      • It’s all about the right balance and knowing the truth and self.

If you know these then not even you or those around you can corrupt your thoughts/image of yourself.Thats how the humble stay humble in Christ.

Sorry to hear you are not well.

Prayers for healing and pain relief.
